Dr Jerzy Leszek is Professor of Psychiatry, Vice-Head of the Department of Psychiatry , Head of Alzheimer’s Disease Lab at the Medical University in Wroclaw , and Scientific Director of Alzheimer’s Disease Center in Scinawa near Wroclaw, Poland. He graduated at Medical University of Wroclaw in 1979, was awarded a doctorate in Wroclaw in 1981 and in 1999- examination for the degree of associate professor of psychiatry and since 2007 he is working as full professor of psychiatry at Wroclaw Medical University. He is author and co-author more than 280 papers (especially from old age psychiatry), some chapters to the books published in reputed Polish and international journals and serving as an editorial board member of several journals .He is Editor –in-Chief of Journal of Yoga and Physical Activity. He is Scientific Editor and co-author of first Polish academic handbook on Alzheimer’s disease and nine another academic handbooks from old age psychiatry(Polish and internationals) , member a lot of scientific associations e .g founder and president of Lower Silesian Association of Alzheimer’s Families, first of its kind in Poland ,President of the Scientific Council of Alzheimer’s Disease Center in Scinawa, near Wroclaw , Former President and founder of Polish Psychogeriatric Association, Former Secretary(now member) of European Old Age Psychiatry and Former Member of Board of Directions of International Psychogeriatric Association.

Professor WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His main research areas are Addictions and Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Gholamreza Heydari completed his MD in 1996 and he had MPH and PhD degree on epidemiology from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Dr.Heydari currently is director of Tobacco Prevention & Control Research Center and WHO Collaborating Center on Tobacco Control in Eastern Mediterranean region and also chairman and editor in chief of monthly tobacco control journal in Iran. He is conducting several studies on tobacco control and smoking cessation in Iran. He as a national expert in this filed had more than 40 papers internationally. Dr.Vahid Farnia is the head of substance abuse prevention research centre at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, Kermanshah, Iran. He studied medicine at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, and obtained his medical degree in 2000. He has undertaken more than twenty projects concerning drug abuse, and drug induced psychiatric disorders. Gregory Rudolf has been board-certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine since 2004, by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2003 and by the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture since 2010. He divides his clinical time between inpatient addiction medicine at Cascade Behavioral Hospital in Seattle, where he is the Medical Director of addiction recovery services and Swedish Pain Services, where he practices outpatient pain management, addiction medicine and medical acupuncture. His research has been inspired by his breadth of clinical experience. He has developed a novel protocol for opioid withdrawal management which has a range of clinical applications among the available treatment options for opioid use disorders and which has been the subject of research presented at this and other conferences.
