Biography
She worked with moderate to severe teenagers and young adults with Autism teaching them life skills and to be as independent as they are capable of being. This population of people changed my impression on how much special needs individuals are able to accomplish, given the right tools and resources. My journey as a Behavior Mentor to this wonderful group of young people inspired me to finish my Masters in Counseling to help improve those families affected by autism with the resources and assistance they require.I have spent the past year providing mental health as an Intern at The Laurel House, a Domestic Violence Agency working with women and children that have been affected by Domestic Violence. Various Mental Health issues were worked on towards a path of both healing and recovery.
